Lotus on a Flying Turtle

This was done as a tribute to the daughter of George and Anouk, my neighbours. When I tried to give it to them, the mother wanted to cut off the corners because a painting should be square. So I took it back. I tried to give it to them a second time, but she still wanted to cut of the corners. So I took it back again. It’s hanging in my studio now, and I’m quite happy with it.
