The life of Goya has been one of great fame and great desperation. In his work we see the two sides of the Spanish Spirit:
On the one side he painted the Careless, Frivolous, Fiesta way of life, and on the other side the Terror and Cruelty of the Inquisition and Wars.
When he bought a haunted house, he became deaf and started painting Surreal and Cruel, Fantastic Paintings all over the walls of his villa. Those paintings were taken of the walls and shown in Museo del Prado, Madrid. Some of his works that protested the cruelty of war were forbidden to be published. He died in exile in France. Here in the Painters Heaven, He finally found Peace surrounded by naked Princesses, Witches, Poodles, Winged Demons and sang to by the Blind.
