The Surreal Painter on the Way to His Studio

My studio is at a very green and hidden place next to a huge lake near Amsterdam. I work in some old army storage buildings that we as a group of artists managed to buy in the 1980’s. Even though I use my bike to go up and down into town, I feel like I am riding my Pink Elephant. So this is how I imagine my Monday morning on my way to the studio… Some sort of idealistic Surreal Self Portrait.
